Dear family friend, gifted, blessed, Shimrit Shoshan, Ad’s piano teacher, neighborhood beauty, and cat-sitter supreme, shockingly, suddenly passed this weekend. Cardiac arrest.  28.  We are all blues.

Smalls Jazz Club (183 West 10th Street @ 7th Avenue, NYC) will be holding a formal Memorial Service for Shimmy on Sunday, August 26, 2012 at 5:00pm.
